what is SB-Pool Sealer?

SB-Pool Sealer is a concentrated blended material designed to seal leaks in virtually any material. Leak repair for all types of swimming pools and tanks including piping systems. Operates in 24-48 hours. Applicable on acrylic, fibreglass, concrete, wood, vinyl plastic, paint or mosaic.

Method of use

• Completely fill the pool, spa, etc.
• For pools with a flint or diatomaceous earth filter, turn the valve of the filtration system to the "recirculation" position. For pools with other types of filters, it is recommended to remove the filtering elements or by-pass the filter before adding.
• ALWAYS shake the bottle before use.
• Start the filtration system and slowly add the dosage recommended by the skimmers or, in overflowing pools, directly into the pool near the discharge nozzles to facilitate the homogenisation of the product.
• The product is very dense and has a tendency to deposit quickly on the bottom of the pool. To avoid this, it is recommended to remove the area where it has been deposited using a brush.
• Adjust the valves of the filtration system to concentrate the suction from the sump (pools with skimmers). Keep the filtration system running - recirculation position - until the fissure(s) have been sealed and no water is leaking. Estimate a minimum of 24 - 48 hrs
• Mark the water level of the pool, spa, etc. Check for 2 or 3 days that the water level does not drop, thus verifying the repair.
• Once the crack(s) have disappeared, switch the filtration system to the "filtration" position (after reinstalling the filter elements that have been removed during the repair of the leak)
• The treatment can be repeated if a complete repair of the crack(s) has not been achieved

Dosage

• Dosage: Add 1 Lt SB-Pool Sealer per 80 ^m3 of water.
• In case of using a concentration higher than 5 Lts. of product per 80 ^m3 of water, it is recommended to change the water before using the pool, spa, etc...

These doses are for guidance only and can be modified depending on the situation and the type of leak. The effectiveness of the product will depend on the size of the crack.
