what is the Sleepy Winter Pool Doser for?
The Sleepy winter doser for swimming pools is a complete winter treatment with a built-in floating doser.

what is the purpose of the Sleepy Winter Pool Doser?
- It prevents water putrefaction, algae proliferation and keeps the water crystal clear.
- It includes disinfectant, algaecide and flocculant action.
- Not recommended for liner or polyester pools.
Prolonged contact of this product on pool surfaces should be avoided in polyester, liner, vinyl or painted pools. This product discolours them.
Procedure for winterising a pool:
1. When the water temperature is below 15ºC, adjust the pH between 7.2 and 7.6. and carry out a shock chlorination with CTX-200/GR.
2. Leave the filter running for at least 8 hours and the next day add the selected treatment (this procedure stabilises the water so that no algae or vermin grow, etc.):
4. Carry out a filter cleaning with CTX-55 or CTX 51, remember to do a good backwash and rinse after filter cleaning and cover your pool with a cover.
5. It is important to repeat all these steps in the middle of the winter season.
Dosage and instructions for use
These doses are for guidance only and can be modified depending on the characteristics of each pool, climate, etc. Prolonged contact of this product on pool surfaces should be avoided in polyester, liner, vinyl or painted pools. This product discolours them.
- Pierce the circular marks 50 m3 (both sides). Use a sharp tool (e.g. scissors) to open the necessary holes to allow the water to enter.
- Place the container in the water with the lid downwards and let it float.
- Use one dispenser per 50 m3 of water to be winterised. Approximate duration: 4 to 6 weeks. Do not try to refill the dispenser, it is for single use only!
Recommendations
- Do not use for above ground removable pools or pools with a volume of less than 40m3.
- Avoid prolonged standing next to the wall and the use of winter covers.
