Pool Basic is the product preferred by most private pool users. Small in size, it is designed to avoid the siphon effect, minimum maintenance, easy to install and resistant to chemical splashes.

what is Redox?
The redox potential gives an idea of the state of equilibrium between the oxidising and reducing components of a product. The redox potential is measured in a similar way to the pH value. However, instead of a pH-sensitive glass membrane, a platinum or gold electrode is used. Also, similar to the pH measurement, an integrated Ag/AgCl reference system is used as reference electrode.

Oxidation is a process in which a molecule or ion loses electrons. This happens very easily in water treatment as well as in the maintenance of swimming pools and spas where an oxidant such as chlorine is added to the water to destroy contaminants. The more positive the ORP value, the greater the sterilising power of the water. The ORP tester can provide valuable information about water quality.
