Calcium Hardness Reducer CTX 605 in 5 kg.
- Granulated calcium hardness reducer in 5 kg format
- The optimum values should be between 175 and 300 ppm to obtain a balanced water
- When the hardness is above the above mentioned values, scaling and cloudy water will occur due to an excess of calcium in the water
Technical characteristics
Calcium Hardness Reducer CTX 605
Calcium Hardness is the term that indicates the Calcium content of water.
The optimum hardness range should be between 175 and 300 ppm of CaCO3, thus favouring the obtaining of balanced water, according to the Langelier Index.
When the hardness is situated, due to the supply water, above the aforementioned range, problems of incrustations, cloudy water, etc. can occur. It is therefore advisable to reduce this hardness to lower levels, placing it in the above-mentioned range, and this product (0605) is used for this purpose.
DOSAGE and METHOD OF USE:
Without the presence of bathers, pour the necessary dose of product without prior dissolution (150 grams of product to reduce the hardness by 10 ppm, expressed as CaCo3, of 10 m3 of water, this dose being a guideline), distributing this dose over the surface of the pool equally. The pool water then becomes milky. Keep the filtration system in "recirculation" position for 3 hours.
After this time, stop the filtration system and add flocculant CTX 41, at a rate of 100 cm2 per 10 m3 of water, leaving the water to stand for 3 days for clarification.
Add 150 grams of product to reduce the hardness, expressed as CaCO3, of 10 m3 of water by 10 ppm, this dose being a guideline.
