Technical characteristics
Self-cleaning NanoFiber filter
The shower is operated in the backwash position. In order to achieve a correct backwashing of the filter medium, the upper filter handle has to be turned. The upper filter handle is manually operated and can be easily automated. Turning the handle in turn causes the cartridge to rotate, which ensures that the cartridge is completely clean.
Both the Nanofiber filter material and the central collector shower system are exclusive to AstralPool. More efficient filtration: water flow redirection system.
The water flow is directed tangentially. This innovative fact favours the homogeneous distribution of dirt, increasing the filter's useful life.

The NanoFiber self-cleaning filter for residential pools is not a cartridge filter per se. The key is the filter material that makes up the filter. This material offers a higher filtration quality due to its network of nanofibres compared to other filters. In addition, its easy handling makes the Nanofiber filter a very good purchase choice.
Innovation in cartridge filters
- Easy to use
- Reliable
- Lower water consumption
- Higher filtered water quality
- Compact
- Easy to clean
- Slow fouling without fouling
- Compatible with existing or existing filtering and pumping equipment
- Replacement cartridges
A comparative filtration effectiveness report conducted through physicochemical testing by an external laboratory confirms that:
1) The overall average pore size is superior to other cartridge filtration systems.
2) NanoFiber filter filtration is looser and more scaled, preventing early fouling.
The NanoFiber filter offers less selective but more efficient filtration.
